Watching Tour

Meet the wild dolphins!
Go out to the open sea and feel the refreshing sea breeze on our well-equipped cruiser.

Our Dolphin Watching Tour is a perfect excursion for all ages. Add delicious Chamorro Lunch Buffet and Observatory Viewing to your tour to enjoy a full-day of thrilling and entertaining experience at Fish Eye. Or, if your wish to use your limited vacation time wisely, you can still participate in the “Dolphin Watching only” course even on your departure day.

If your tour includes the “Observatory Viewing”, you will visit the Underwater Observatory before the Dolphin Watching tour. . A splendid ocean view and plenty of fishes swimming in the clear water can be enjoyed from the underwater viewing windows as well as the pier as you walk.

Get on our nice sporty cruiser boat at the harbor, where many yachts and cruiser boats are docked. Our cruiser boat can run at a high speed making it easier to resist the rolling waves or wind, so not many people get sea sick on this boat.

Now depart from the port towards the sapphire color ocean!

You will travel through the boundless ocean which shines with the color called “Mariana Blue”. Sometimes you’ll see a school of skipjack tuna or flying fish jumping around. The gorgeous scenery of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking. You can also tell that Guam is an island created by elevation.

Wild Dolphins! Not too far from the port, right outside of coral reefs.

Then we had a pod of spinner dolphins coming close to our boat.

You can hear them breathing as they show their faces above the water surface.

Spinner dolphins showing us the ability to spin multiple times in one jump, as it is how they earned their name!

There are some dolphins filled with curiosity, swimming with our boat side by side. So adorable!

A family of dolphins were in an excellent mood today. They kept jumping on the backwash of our boat.

Watching the pod of dolphins swimming peacefully in the ocean will thoroughly relax your mind.

Most dolphins you encounter on a cruise are the spinner dolphins. They’re small dolphins living along the coast of Guam throughout a year. They love to jump, flip and twist above the surface of the water. During your cruise, you may also encounter some pilot whale with their distinct round head (10-16 feet long), a pod of well-known bottlenose dolphin, and sperm whale may appear in the open sea as well in the summer. So if we feed the dolphins, can we see them every day? A marine biologist’s opinion is a “No”. According to the biologist, dolphins are good at going down to the deep sea at night as a group, to catch fresh squids, shellfish, and others types of fish. So they don’t need to be fed by humans. But how do they hunt communicating with their fellows in the total darkness of the deep sea? Well, marine biologists say they have a special ability that humans don’t possess. An ability to detect the sound wave like the SONAR system on the submarine. With that, they can even find a school of fish that are swimming several miles away! Dolphins are usually resting on the shallow sandy soil on the coast during the day, but they seem to be filled with curiosity. Many of them swim with our boat side by side as if they’re racing with us, or slide on the backwash as if they’re enjoying surfing! We sincerely hope that this environment will continue to be preserved on our beautiful island of Guam.
